WINONA, Minn. – The city Planning Commission put off decisions when new teleconferencing equipment went bad. The Commission had wanted to use Zoon teleconferencing to interact with citizens during the City Hall lockdown due to the coronavirus. But audio started garbled and unintelligible. Items on the Commission agenda will be taken up April 13, when, it’s hoped, the electronics are all worked out.  Agenda items included a Main Square Development proposal for parking lot at the site of the old Winona Junior High School auditorium between Fourth and Fifth streets.
