WINONA, Minn. – Was it a Trump yard sign? A Biden sign? The police report didn’t say. A man told police he didn’t like the sign, in the 1400 residential block of West Fifth Street, so he stopped and knocked on the door to say so. He told the homeowner to “do some political research.” The homeowner grabbed a bat and ordered the caller to leave. He did – and also called the cops that he had been threatened. The police told the guy to ignore things he doesn’t agree with, especially on personal property. End of story. We hope there’s no sequel.
