WINONA, Minn. – In a crackdown on speeders, the State Patrol and Winona County sheriff’s officers teamed up for 17 citations and 26 warnings on Interstate 90 last weekend. The joint stops were part of a statewide saturation campaign prompted by a staggering 255 traffic deaths in Minnesota this year – way more than last year.
