MINNEAPOLIS — A shooting shortly after midnight in the trendy Uptown entertainment left one man dead and 11 people wounded. The man died at the hospital. None of the other injuries were life-threatening, police said. Witnesses heard numerous shots, apparently in a storefront shared by the Uptown Theater and a shoe store. A crowd crouched over victims on the pavement before police officers arrived on bicycles. Polices said there apparently was more than one shooter, whom they described as “individuals on foot.” Police were unsure what prompted the shooting.
