MILWAUKEE – State Senator Chris Larson, D-Milwaukee, withdrew from the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate seat held by Republican Ron Johnson. Larson’s fundraising was lagging, only $51,000 for the quarter ending June 30. Larson urged his supporters to vote for Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes. in the primary. Larson did not indicate whether he will try again for State Senate in 2022.
