WINONA, Minn. — A Wabasha man, Leo L. Vanwey, 65, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a collision on Highway 61 at Huff Street. The crash closed Huff from Lake Street to Highway 61 for two hours. Police said Vanwey was northbound in a Chevrolet Blazer and collided with a Ford F-150 pickup driven by Chris C. Roffler, 79, of Winona. Roffler was turning onto the highway, police said. A trailer connected to the Blazer disconnected on impact and struck a Ford Mustang that was stopped in the westbound turn lane of Huff. Vanwey was taken to a hospital. No one else was hurt. The accident happened about 10:40 a.m.
