GALESVILLE, Wis. – Rescuers needed to pry open a wrecked car to extricate the driver in a three-vehicle pile-up north of Galesville. The driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that appeared serious. The accident occurred about 4 p.m. on U.S. Highway 53 at Jim Johnson Lane near the Berean Church. Deputies said that one vehicle had slowed make a left turn and was rear-ended by a second vehicle and catapulted into an oncoming vehicle. The other drivers were unhurt.
