BROWNSVILLE, Minn. – A New Albin, Iowa, man was injured when he lost control on Highway 26 about 12 miles south of Brownsville and went into the ditch. Jacob R Lewis, 38, whom police said had been drinking, was taken 30 miles to a LaCrosse hospital. His injuries appeared non-life threatening, police said. This was about 5:55 p.m. Lewis was northbound from New Albin in a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu along the Minnesota Slough.
