WINONA, Minn. – For the first time in memory, two riverboats will be tied up at the Winona Levee at the same time. The American Countess arrives at 8 a.m. September 28, and the American Symphony at 1:30 p.m. Together the visiting boats are 587 feet long, the Countess 318 feet and the Symphony 269. To make room, the city will need to invoke its contracts with the local tour boats usually at the Levee to moor elsewhere for the day. These are Winona State University’s Cal Fremling and Aaron Rupinski’s Winona Tours Boat. The Levee’sAugust visitors:

> September 10: American Melody ACL 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
> September 13: American Queen, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
> September 21: American Melody, 1 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
> September 24: American Melody, 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
> September 26: American Duchess, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
> September 28: American Countess, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
> September 28: American Symphony 1:30 p.m. and overnight.
