MINNEAPOLIS – Due to the growing spread of the Delta variant of the Covid virus, the University of Minnesota has brought back its indoor mask mandate. The rule applies to all campus people, contractors and visitors at all campuses regardless of vaccination status and regardless of whether a location is in a substantial or high transmission county or not. University President Joan Gabel said the decision was a result of federal guideline and advice of university public health experts.
