MINNEAPOLIS – Entomologists at the Minneapolis Mosquito Control District say Minnesota’s cool spring is delaying the breeding season for mosquitos. Alex Carlson, of the District staff, said the first larva emerged in March while snow was still on the ground. Few survived, he said. So: Expect fewer mosquitoes than last year.
