ST. PAUL, Minn. – Were the latest Minnesota map of fall colors a painter’s palette, it would be a slow creep of browns, maroons and oranges southward. Oranges already have splashed into almost all of Houston County on the Iowa border. Colors are are at 50% to 75% of their peak. What’s next? Inevitably winter.
