NEW ULM, Minn. – His victory lap will be short-lived, said Republican Brad Finstad after narrowly winning the MN-1 seat in Congress. After a day to cool down, Finstad said, he will be off to Washington. He’ll take one day at a time, he said: “\A lot of constituent work has gone undone in the 6-1/2 months since Jim Hagedorn died in office, Finstad said..  He’s unsure what his House committee assignments will be but said he wants to focus on food and gas prices, inflation and supply chain issues.
