WINONA, Minn. – A St. Paul man, Lyle Van Jones, 20, was arrested after friends reported that he drove off with their guns in his vehicle. It happened in the Fleet Farm parking lot. Friends said they were all en route to a gun range and stopped for ammo. In the store, they said, Jones left them, went back to the vehicle, and drove off. Police arrested Jones about 3:30 p.m. and began paperwork for a charge of receiving stolen property.
