WAUSAU, Wis. – a 15-year-old girl dangling by by one arm from the McCleary Bridge was rescued 20 feet above the ice-covered Big Rib River. A State trooper spotted the imperiled girl. The trooper and a citizen pulled her up over the railing by her arms. The incident was about 4 p.m. How the girl got into her predicament was not immediately clear.
