ALBERT LEA, Minn. – An Albert Lea teenager, Nando Cristales-Paul Sanchez, pleaded guilty to a gunpoint robbery for a backpack. Police said Sanchez, age 19, pulled a gun on someone on Main Street in July 2019. Police said they found he backpack and a black airsoft gun in a car parked the wrong way on a nearby street. Meanwhile, a woman accused as an accomplice, Rebecca Marie Ortega, 19 of Albert Lea, is scheduled to stand trial in January.
