BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – Apparent gang warfare erupted outside the Shingle Creek Crossings mega-hopping mall. There didn’t appear to be any shoppers or anyone else wounded. Surveillance video showed three shooters, handguns drawn, as they ran to a get-away vehicle. In the video, two shooters had their weapons aimed. Police had received reports of shots being fired about 1:40 p.m. When police arrived moment later, the shooters were gone. On the street were 13 spent casings.

Caught on video. But not yet in real life. The gun battle was in the northwest Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Park, ironically only two blocks from the police station.
