WINONA, Minn. – A plastic gun case with a gun inside was found smashed and run over near the Hy-Vee grocery store on the West End. The gun survived whatever it was that happened, police said. Officers surmised the case fell off a vehicle bumping down the street, unbeknown to the driver. The gun was secured with a lock, police said.
