MINNEAPOLIS – Police tactical squads in Minneapolis soon will be required to wear helmet cameras, Assistant Chief Katie Blackwell reported. The goal, Blackwell said, is accountability to inspires public confidence in policing. SWAT cameras will be governed by the same policies as body cameras that officers already wear on patrol, she said.
