EYOTA, Minn. — An Eyota man suffered life-threatening injuries when his car hit an embankment and a tree just north of town on Highway 42. The State Patrol said 64-year-old Gary Dean Zimmerman, 64, was taken to Saint Marys hospital in Rochester. He was heading toward Elgin in a Toyota Tundra pickup. The accident happened just before 7 p.m.
