WASHINGTON — The U.S. Senate voted 50-50 to with Vice President JD Vance breaking the tie to pass the Trump spending package 51-50. The package next returns to the House, which narrowly approved an earlier version. As approved by the Senate the bill cuts taxes for rich people and corporations, cripples medical and nutrition programs for poor people and children, and raises the naional debt a record $3.3 trillion.
