PLAINVIEW, Minn. — A Rochester woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident during a winter storm eight miles west of Plainview near Potsdam. The roadway, Highway 24, was icy, the State Patrol said. Injured was Maija Ann Klees, 34, who was a passenger. Her injuries appeared non-life threatening, the Patrol said. She was taken to a Rochester hospital. The driver, Thomas Francis Klees, 42, of Rochester was westbound on Highway 247 in a 2011 GMC Acadia when he lost control, ran into the ditch and struck a tree. The accident happened about 5:45 p.m.
