More beautiful with the years. It seems peonies live forever. Some planted by Thomas Jefferson at his Monticello home still bloom all these 250 years later. In Winona, in a West End backyard near the High School, this petite but full peony dates at least to the 1960s and a cutting from a Rushford garden.
