WINONA, Minn. — A vehicle pursuit by the Goodview police in the early morning hours ended in arrest for a Plainview man. Officers attempted to stop Matthew Markus Ebin, 21, for speeding on Highway 61, but, with police behind him, lights flashing, siren blaring, he continued driving nine miles to Minnesota City and hen toward Rollingstone, albeit no longer speeding, before pulling off on Highway 248. Goodview police were not alone. Sheriff’s deputies also joined the “chase.” Goodview Police Chief Lonnie Roloff called it “a pretty non-climactic pursuit.” This all began about 12:20 a.m. Potential charges, Roloff said, were fleeing police, speeding, and reckless driving.
