MINNEAPOLIS — A Turning Point USA event scheduled at the University of Minnesota will still go ahead despite the assassination of founder Charlie Kirk last week in Utah. As planned, the event will be inside, at Northop Auditorium — unlike in Utah where a lone gunman shot Kirk in an outdoor amphitheater from a rooftop. In announcing its Northrop decision, Turning Point expressed a commitment “to keeping his legacy alive and continuing all of his events.” Time: 6 p.m. Admission: Free but ticket required.
