WINONA, Minn. –— A laptop computer disappeared from an employee picnic tazble outside the HBC cable company headquarters. An employee explained he had left the laptop momentarily. When he returned, it was gone. Police reviewed HBC surveillance video and recognized the thief. This was downtown in the 50 block of Johnson Street. A couple hours later on the Far West End, an officer spotted Kasey William James Joihnnson, age 35, of Winona. He was on foot with a laptop. The machine was valued at $1,500.
