LEWISTON, Minn. – A Lewiston man was hurt, albeit not seriously, when he pulled into the path of a semi-truck at the busy Kwik Trip intersection at the east end of town. Edward Leon Peterson, 71, was taken to a Rochester hospital to be checked out. The truck driver, Andrew Stephen Bear. 39, of Lewiston, was not hurt. The accident was about 7:30 a.m. Deputies said Bear was westbound on State Highway 14 in a 2001 Kenworth semi-tractor. Peterson, in a 2015 Ford Escape, approached Highway from County Road 25.
