ST. PAUL, Minn. – Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan tested positive for Covid, apparently catching the virus while caring for her infected 8-year-old daughter. Flanagan’s infection is a so-called “breaththrough” case. She described her symptoms as “cold-like.” Both she and her husband were fully vaccinated, she said in an online announcement. She and husband would be staying home to take care of their daughter and to avoid spreading the virus. Flanagan said she learned of her own diagnosis from a a rapid test that was confirmed by a PCR test.

Flanagan. Number 2 in Minnesota gubernatorial succession. In office 2-1/2 years.
