WINONA, Minn. – An exhibit of celebrity images by Winona-born photographer Tony Duran opened at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum for a run through April 25. Duran’s work came to notice with a 2000 Glamour magazine cover photo of actress Jennifer Lopez. The Winona exhibit, titled “Tony Duran: California,” includes portraits of Lopez, Beyoncé, Tom Cruise, Sandra Bullock, Sharon Stone, Jane Fonda on beaches and in pools and baths. Duran is a University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire graduate in art. His early success was photography of female students at the University of Minnesota.
