BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. — The state High School League postponed the fall football and volleyball seasons to the spring in a coronavirus-driven decision. Football and volleyball now will begin in March, assuming the virus has abated. Thus Minnesota became the ninth state to delay prep football. Sime fall sports, however, will remain in schedule — soccer, cross country, girls tennis and girls swimming and diving. Traditional spring sports will now move to the summer as part of the plan.
