ALMA, Wis. – The Army Corps of Engineers, which operates the Mississippi River lock and dam at Alma, is inviting the public for behind-the-scenes visits on Saturday. Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free. The historic lock has been a navigation landmark since 1935. On display will be boats that are used on the river.
