THIELMAN, Minn. – A Pine Island woman who was reported missing in the Zumbro River was found drowned about 3:30 p.m. The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Lynn Marie Ness, 57. She had been swimming along County Road 4 near the Zumbro confluence with West Indian Creek, about 10 miles north of Plainview.
