MINNEAPOLIS – The mining conglomerate PolyMet vowed anew to challenge anyone opposing its plans for a nickel-copper mine near Ely in the Minnesota Arrowhead. The company issued a statement that it has a legal right to mine the land. The company, also, reiterated its claim that the mine won’t damage the environment. The company statement: “We remain steadfast in defending those rights and advancing our model mining project.”
