WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Port Authority voted unanimously to sell a small tract near the Mississippi River bridge to Fastenal. The quarter-acre parcel will be parking for the riverfront Fastenal office building being constructed nearby. The price: $30,000. Fastenal already has acquired adjacent property for 400 to 600 employees to park. As a Fastenal executive, Port Authority member Dana Johnson sat out the vote.
