WINONA, Minn. – The education director at the state Corrections Department-Stillwater facility, Ann Deiman-Thornton, was named dean of faculty and operations at Southeast Tech. Vice President of Academic Affairs Chad Dull said Deiman-Thornton will have oversight of most academic programs in Red Wing, Winona, and online. Earlier she coordinated post-secondary partnerships for the Minnesota Department of Corrections. She also was liberal arts dean at Inver Hills Community College and dean of faculty at the Minnesota School of Business. She holds a master’s in English from the University of St. Thomas.
