WINONA, Minn. – Barthlette “Barky” Weaver, of Winona, also known as Bart, a painter whose projects included St. Stanislaus Church, the Winona State science building, and the Lake Park bandshell, died at age 94. He and his brothers grew up working with their dad in the Weaver & Sons painting business. He was drafted in 1950 and served in the Korean conflict. He played one year in pro baseball in the Northern League. He also played for the Rollingstone Merchants and helped lead them to State Championship in 1953.
