LEWISTON, Minn. – Bruce Allen John Schott, 73 of Lewiston, the retired president of Schott Distributing in Winona, died after a short illness. He graduated in 1968 from Lewiston High School, where he played football and basketball. He belonged to school farm clubs and himself became a farmer. Besides farming he tended bar and picked up the nickname “Budweiser Bruce.” He went to work for his dad at Schott Distributing and delivered beer. In 2010 he became the company president.
