ROLLIGSTONE, Minn. – Death claimed Mary Elizabeth Nilles, 77, a proud Luxembourger who wrote books on Luxembourger immigration to the Midwest. She attended College of Saint Teresa in Winona and held a doctorate from New York University. She was a Fulbright orofessor in Belgium and Luxembourg, from 1973 to 1975. Mary taught contemporary literature at New York University and at New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn. She was involved in the restored Nicholas Marnach historic house on the Whitewater River near Elba.
