ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Rochester man accused of raping a teen-age girl hundreds of tmes, while she was as young as 12, has been sentenced to nine years in prison. Avelino Cruz-Munoz, 46, abused the girl as many as five times a week, according to the criminal complaint. The abuse began in Red Wing and continued after she moved to Rochester in 2016. Cruz-Munoz pleaded guilty to the second-degree sexual assault in exchange for the dismissal of other charges.
