ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester School Board suspended Superintendent Michael Munoz for five days without pay for plagiary in a Thanksgiving holiday note to the district staff. As part of the discipline, Mjunoz will need to develop a public restorative practices plan that will become public. In a prepared statement the Board said: “Plagiarism is serious, unacceptable, and cannot happen again.” The statement also expressed confidence in Munoz continuing as “an effective leader.”
