SAVAGE, Minn. – The principal at the Eagle Ridge Middle School was caught in a police sting with fake online ads for prostitution.  According to police, Mohamed Ali Selim, 38, responded to one of the ads not realizing an undercover officer was at the other end posing as a 15-year-old girl. Police said that Selim tried to set up a liaison. When the “girl” said a second time that she was only 15, police quoted Selim: “OK That’s fine.” Later in the dialogue, according to police, Selim said that her age made him nervous but he still wanted to meet. The criminal complaint said the undercover agent gave her rates as $175 a half-hour, $250 an hour and more for upgrades. Selim, police said, asked for an hour. When he arrived for the hookup about 1 p.m. in St. Louis Park, Selim was arrested, police said. He became distraught and said his life was over, police said.  He was taken to the Hennepin County jail.

Selim. Police: He accepted $250-an-hour quote for sex with a girl who identified herself as 15 but was actually an undercover cop.
