WASHINGTON – Congress member Betty McCollum, from Minnesota’s Fourth Congressional District, called on President Joe Biden to withdraw his bid for re-election. McCollum, like Biden a Democrat, cited the President’s lackluster debate performance in Jine and a “lack of forceful response.” McCollum joined fellow Democrat Angie Craig, from another Metro area Congressional district, in recommending a shuffle in the top of the party’s November ticket. McCollum went further, saying Vice Presdodent Kamala Harris shiuld head a reivsed ticket. She also said a solid vice presidential candidate would be Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
