WINONA, Minn. — A package containing a rain gauge shaped like a whisky barrel was reported stolen from a porch in the 650 residential block of East Fourth Street. The package probably was taken around July 6, the owner said, but he hadn’t noticed it missing earlier. Policed were notified about 4:30 p.m. The owner put a $48 value on the gauge.
