MINNEAPOLIS – The man shot fatally early Sunday on a crowded street in Uptown district was Cody Pollard, 27. He was barber at Jerome’s Barber Shop on University Avenue in St Paul. Fellow barbers lowered his chair and invited friends to leave flowers. Pollard was married and the father of a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old. Pollard grew up in St. Paul, graduated from a military school in Virginia, then found his passion barbering. He hoped to open his own shop someday.
