WINONA, Minn. – Heirs of the local petroleum empire built by the late Tom Severson continue to sell off properties. Severson’s Sinclair gas station in the retail-hotel complex on Mankato Avenue has been sold for $1.3 million. The purchaser, Bhaveshkumar Patel of Hutchinson, who owns the company Rudra Mankato, said the deal includes the land and buildings. Patel said he plans to keep the service station going.
