MINNEAPOLIS – A St. Paul man was charged with killing a woman and injuring several other people by speeding his vehicle into Uptown demonstrators Sunday night. Nicholas Kraus, 35, charges him with second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree assault. Police quoted Kraus that he accelerated his vehicle toward the protesters because he thought he would be able to “jump” a car that had been parked on the road to serve as a barricade. Police said he admitted knowing there were people next to the car he rammed. Meanwhile, police were awaiting results of a blood test. KRAUS was held for $1 million bail,.According to court records, Kraus did not have a valid driver’s license because of a criminal history that includes multiple drunken-driving convictions.

Kraus. His confused tale includes a misjudgment trying to leap over a car at protest. Drunk? Record not good.
