ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol announced a recruiting program to increase female troopers and support staff to 30%bythe year 2030. Matt Langer, Patrol chief, said that women currently comprise 3% of sworn officers and leadership. The goal, he said, is to ensure policies and procedures are free of bias and discriminatory practices.
