ST.PAUL, Minn. – Coffers at the Minnesota Revenue Department are swelling. Tax collections in May were $1.9 billion — 40 % more than expected. The breakdown:
> Personal income taxes: $488 ahead of projects.
> Miscellaneous collections: $50 million ahead.
> Corporate taxes: $8 million ahead,
> Sales taxes: Off $11 million.
