WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Steamboat Days Committee donated $2,000 to the Winona Lions Club for the club’s Every Child’s Dream playground at Lake Park. Jack Krage, of the Kiwanis, said the club is working up plans for a playground pavilion. Another$1,000 in Steamboat funds will go to the city Streets Department for 40 more barricades for crowd control at parades. Maynard Johnson, Steamboat Days president noted that the city was short of barricades for the 2021 Steamboat parade.
