Traffic will be detoured on County Road 23 through Minnesota City. For hundreds of daily commuters, the water-level alternate route – no hills — will take an extra six to nine minutes. Stockton Hill is one of Minnesota’s most dangerous roads with two near-hairpin curves, nary any shoulders, narrow lanes and near vertical drops of several hundred feet through guardrails.
